November 10, 2017 | News
Bestmile is proud to be part of Mobility Nation. The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) launched Mobility Nation, a working group dedicated to provide an assessment of the current mobility environment and to propose concrete recommendations for improvement.
The reinvention of the urban and suburban mobility landscape aims at putting the passenger back at the center of all mobility services.
Along with founding members BCG, ASFA, ENGIE, the Region Ile-de-France and Uber, Mobility Nation includes Axa, Europcar, Faurecia and a panel of innovative start-ups and SMEs, such as BlaBlaCar, Bestmile, Easymile, SeaBubbles, Siradel, Stuart, teemo and the accelerator ViaID as members. The diversity of public and private organizations provide a new and unique perspective on urban mobility.
Transportation is currently undergoing an evolution driven by both technology and new usage models: zero emission, autonomous, connected, shared, on-demand and multi-modal mobility. The whitepaper of Mobility Nation details 24 recommendations to leverage these 6 beneficial disruptions in order to transform mobility and sustainably solve today’s transportation challenges.
As part of the white paper, Bestmile wrote a complete article on the importance of testing and deploying autonomous mobility services in real conditions. The full article (in French) can be found here.
